What is Inner-Work Coaching?
Inner-work transformative coaching is not about “fixing” you or changing your personality. Rather it is about unlocking your innate potential which will automatically maximize your performance. This is done by letting go of limiting and negative core beliefs that act as a veil to the truth of who you truly are. It is about releasing falsehoods so that the truth can reveal itself.
Every person has a unique perception and experience of the world which is based on their personal conditioning and mental programs in the brain. Our perceptions are influenced by our mental and emotional states as well as our beliefs and inner conflicts. This creates a model of our world that generally sabotages us and limits our potential in life. Life coaching is about updating and changing our conditioning and mental filters in order to live the life we truly desire. It is about helping us see that our model of life can be reprogrammed, that our past wounds can be healed which in turn will release us to experience life in a more empowering, positive, happy, and fulfilling way.
Inner-work transformative coaching helps you become more self-aware of your mental and emotional baggage and so helps you deal with the root causes of this baggage rather than just offering relief for the effects and symptoms. By shedding light on the unconscious thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are creating the recurring negative experiences in your life, you get to re-program these subconscious beliefs with new ones that work for your benefit.
Through a specific set of questions, it also elicits your personal values and directs you to formulate goals so that you can transform your life for the better and BEYOND. This is achieved by using a specific, proven Core Calmfidence® methodology that works. Its aim is to get you from where you are to where you want to be, by gently guiding you to your own insights.
Inner-work transformative coaching empowers you to realize your true potential by uncovering and then eliminating destructive thought and behavioral patterns in your life in a supportive, caring, and inspiring environment. It is a solution-focused approach to personal development that can assist you in making lasting changes in all areas of your life. It encourages self-awareness, enabling you to grow and develop into your highest self.
Once you know the roadblocks in your way, you can better understand how to remove them and get closer to the life you truly desire. In essence, inner-work transformative coaching helps you master and create your own life, have better relationships with yourself and others.
Everybody can benefit from inner-work transformative coaching since it provides a safe, non-threatening opportunity to access within yourself the resources and solutions that you need to create the life that you love.
Inner-work transformative coaching is for those who have a desire for a better quality of life but are not sure where to start or how to go about creating it for themselves.
The inner changes you make with inner-work transformative coaching radiates into your outside world improving your career, your relationships, your finances, your health and overall wellbeing.
What is Therapeutic Coaching?
Source: Developing principles for therapeutic coaching.University of Hertfordshire, 2016
Therapeutic coaching is a non-directive process, which provides an environment of safety, trust and empathy. This enables the client to express and accept uncertainties, anxieties and vulnerabilities and explore their own reality. The aim of therapeutic coaching is for the client to develop pertinent techniques for challenge management and recovery. Therapeutic coaching builds resilience, and promotes wellbeing and capability in the midst of the challenges of transition, stress, anxiety and enhancing well-being.
The course of life is punctuated by volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity and many people’s health and well-being is compromised by:
Life-changing medical and health diagnoses and conditions with the losses and adjustments associated with these.
• Demands at work with its focus on goals and performance resulting in stress, anxiety, poor sleep, presenteeism, absenteeism and communication challenges.
• Other stressors – financial, relationship, reduced self-esteem, resistance to change and caring for family members.
At the therapeutic end of coaching, the boundary and the framework of coaching and counselling become hard to define.
Clear distinction however is: any form of coaching does not diagnose or treat any health disorders and that coaching is not to be used as a substitute for psychotherapy or medical treatment.
Coach is a partner, facilitator, and a guide for a process of self-discovery, transformation, and personal evolution.

Have you ever made a conscious decision that you were going to change a behavior, feeling, or response, only to find yourself doing it again? That's because in most cases our conscious mind alone is practically helpless to permanently change behaviors, feelings, and responses that are automatic and unconscious.
If we had decided to do those unwanted behaviors, feelings, and responses consciously, it might be easy to change them consciously, by just re-deciding. Instead, those decisions usually happen on a more automatic level. It is as if there is an unconscious part of us that is in charge of doing those things.
Because the conscious, thinking, intellectual part of our mind does not run the behavior, feeling, or response we don't want, the first step in changing that behavior is learning to access the part of ourselves that does run it. Through Core Transformation® we learn how these parts can become inner friends.
Most traditional talk therapy attempts to resolve problems by talking through them rationally. The only thing is, most people who come to see me have already done that on their own! They already know at a rational level that what they’re doing or experiencing isn’t working for them and that something else would work better, otherwise they wouldn’t be coming to me for help. So this means we need to work on a different level from rational understanding.
The great thing about the Core Transformation® process is that it works at the level of our automatic experience—the things we do or experience automatically, whether we like it or not. Actually, most of our experience is run in this automatic way, and it’s a good thing too. If we had to run everything consciously, we probably wouldn’t be able to get out of bed in the morning, we’d be so busy keeping our heart beating, our lungs breathing, and countless other automatic processes that keep us alive and healthy. So mostly these automatic processes work great, but when they don’t, it can be really frustrating because of how automatic they are!
The good news is that Core Transformation® works at this automatic level so that the solutions you find will be just as automatic. This means an end to using willpower to try to will yourself to be the way you want to be, and instead, it can just happen naturally and automatically.
What is so special about Transformative Coaching with Nell?
Inner-work transformative coaching with Nell is a simple but profoundly effective approach to happiness, fulfillment, and success is the best blend from the fields of NLP, hypnosis, neuroscience, and psychology and is incredibly effective in helping people transform unwanted thoughts, feelings, habits, or any stumbling blocks on the path to life fulfillment.
It is not about being perfect, strategy, willpower, or discipline, but having an overall sense of inner power, connection, purpose, and fulfillment.
It works on the basis that we are all born with natural motivation for thriving, innate wisdom, resilience, clarity, and the capacity to enjoy wellbeing in life. It works on the basis that we all have positive emotions and pre-existing capacities to navigate the ups and downs of life's journey with ease.
During the transformative Coaching process, a person experiences this innate capacity we call it Core State. They experience this see-through clarity through which the conditioned (unwanted) habits such as stress, worry, anxiety, procrastination, resentment, etc. naturally get transformed, dissolved, and start to melt away.
During the transformative Coaching process, a person will quiet their mental chatter, as a result, their innate wisdom, resilience, and peace of mind can shine through more fully and effortlessly.
In this space of a Core State, they experience greater wellbeing and more possibilities for the endeavors, as they naturally get aligned with their true Core self.
All other approaches to improving wellbeing are additive, giving theories, techniques, and concepts to remember, practice, and apply. While these approaches can be compelling, they rarely yield the desired results and often require constant vigilance in order to maintain what benefits they bring.
As a result, people experience a clear mind, more of the time, with greater wellbeing and more space for the endeavors and experiences that matter to them.

Can I understand my problem better after the Transformative Coaching session?
How often have you heard people describe their problems with great clarity and intellectual understanding, and yet you notice that they still have the problems?
Many self-help approaches have asked us to spend years striving to thoroughly understand our problems. A common belief is that if we only understand the problem well enough, it will simply disappear. Yet, all too often, we understand a problem and still have it. The goal of Transformative Coaching is beyond understanding our problems, the goal is to go to the place within where our problems can be transformed at a deeper level.

What benefits can I experience from Transformative Coaching session?
Through incredibly effective Core Transformation® methodology people can overcome their most painful issues.
It is about aligning your efforts with your Core and infusing your actions with inner wisdom, true passion, and higher purpose. It’s a natural, powerful inner work process that connects us with our core self to facilitate lasting change.
This guided process offers a graceful way to change unwanted thoughts, feelings, and habits, and achieve goals we thought were unattainable and helps us to heal ourselves and develop as human beings, emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually, to move beyond inner conflict and inner struggle into experiencing alignment with our deepest self.
How Transformative Coaching session works?
Our transformative journey together will be as unique as you are, as unique as your story. That said, I meet you with curiosity - and the knowledge that all the answers and everything you need is already within you.
Nell Puetter, Positive Psychology and Transformative Coach, NLP, Hypnotist, and certified Core Transformation Coach will be guiding you through this gentle, yet powerful, healing process in a 1:1session, rewiring the new you at the depths of your unconscious, permanently transforming hidden blocks. And as such rewiring, recoding, and re-imprinting new neural pathways.
At the beginning of the session, I will start with information gathering, thus opening the door to your unconscious. You will be deeply relaxed, and you can keep control over what you say - and what you don't say. With a specific set of questions, I will be then guiding you through the Core Transformation process, and while doing so, we will be transforming the roots of your issue.
You will recognize the part of yourself that blocks you and together we will explore the inner, deep-seated needs of that part. During this transformative process, new neural connections and pathways will be created. The unwanted will naturally get transformed at the unconscious level, from an inner perspective of your Core Self.
After this inner transformation work of the unwanted, you can live a life free of pain, suffering, and limiting beliefs. Even more, through the inner transformation, you will experience wholeness, balance, inner peace, and holistic wellbeing.
Experiencing this process feels like a long overdue kindness to yourself.
How many sessions do I need?
Depending on your issues, it could be that 3-6 sessions are all that is required. Or it may be a 3, or 6 month-long coaching package. Our transformative journey together will be as unique as you are, as unique as your story.
My coaching sessions are often between 75-90 minutes, but I always set aside 2 hours in my schedule, and ask that you do too, so we have the flexibility to use the time that makes the most sense.
If you’d like to have a 30-minute free first consultation over zoom to ask questions and make sure this is a good fit for you. Here you can book your Core Clarity Call.
In which languages can the session be conducted?
The session can be facilitated in English, German or Russian languages. Please feel free to get in touch for a free initial consultation or if you have any questions.
How will you experience the change?
The experience of Core Transformation Sessions is different for each person. Basically, there are three possibilities:
1. Immediate Change:
In the session, you have an all-changing aha-experience, recognize your problem - and solve it at the place where it originated. You will find that the Core State is your natural experience now, in the situation where you used to have the old response, and perhaps even in other situations as well.
2. Step by Step Change:
You gradually realize that you feel better every day - and leave old patterns behind.
It may be that the session uncovered the new onion layers that lead you to the next Part to work with to ultimately get the transformation you want. So whatever happens, your experience will lead you right to the next place to give attention to.
3. Retrospective Change:
You look back and notice that many blocks have been released, you feel liberated - and you go your way with confidence and inner peace. Your environment notices the change in you and speaks to you about it.
Differences Between Coaching and Therapy
Comparison Source: Hayden, C. J., and Whitworth, L. “Distinctions Between Coaching and Therapy.
Source: Positivepsychology.com
When considering coaching, it is important to be aware that it is very separate from therapy and counseling.
Although there are a lot of similarities and crossovers, they are very distinct forms of support. Both have the ultimate goal to support their client to overcome barriers and move towards core goals and authentic living, but key differences include:
-
A Clinical Therapist or Counselor requires professional degrees, qualifications, and accreditations. You must also obtain registration with professional bodies and relevant professional licenses to practice. It is a more highly-skilled profession, compared with coaching (not to say that coaching isn’t equally valuable to the right individual).
-
Therapy tends to reflect on past experiences and how they influence the present. Coaching is more focused on the ‘here and now’ and supporting events and behaviors occurring in the present to generate positive change for the future (Robbins, 2019).
-
Therapy can be less outcome-focused, with an emphasis on ‘inner’ subconscious and conscious personal development, to support the client overcome challenges and barriers in life (Stephens, 2018). Coaching tends to focus on more attainable and measurable goals within the coaching process, so clients are working towards tangible outcomes.
-
Therapy can take place over many years, for as long as the individual feels they require it or for as long as the relationship is helping them. Coaching tends to be shorter-term due to the outcomes focus of the relationship (Stephens, 2018).
Differences Between Coaching and Counseling
Source: Steamtree.com
Generally, counseling is best at dealing with something that’s wrong: for example, emotional problems such as depression or anxiety, relational problems such as marital discord or a breach of trust, or the ongoing effects of previous traumatic experiences. It is especially focused on healing and recovery.
In coaching, while there may be certain things that are blocking a person’s forward progress, the starting place is not with a “presenting problem,” but with a goal or vision for the future, or a desire to improve one’s life. It is focused on being proactive, setting goals, and taking action.
Coaching
On the other hand, if a person’s present focus is oriented toward the future and the need is to design and implement goals, develop strategies, achieve a more balanced life and a better quality of life, coaching may be the best option. If you feel in a frame of mind to make decisions and move ahead (though perhaps not being sure what decisions to make or which direction to move), coaching is an excellent way to get focused and begin to get traction – or to increase your momentum toward a goal you have already been pursuing.
Below are seven coaching benefits that have been associated with coaching:
-
Improvement in Desired Performance and Goals
-
Increased Openness to Personal Development
-
Developed Ability to Identify Positive Solutions
-
A Greater Sense of Ownership Over Self
-
Improved Self-Awareness for Strengths and Weaknesses
-
Improvement in a Specific Area of Life or Set of Behaviours
-
Greater Clarity Over Desired Goals and Objectives
Coaching can be a way for people to define their values, identify their strengths, and jumpstart their creativity.
-
Inner work and self-reflection, personal growth
-
Works with people to achieve self-understanding, personal growth
-
Focuses on feelings, behaviors, and thoughts in order to balance them
-
Explores the root of problems in order to resolve them at a deeper unconscious level
-
Works to bring the unconscious into consciousness
-
Works for internal resolution of pain and to let go of old patterns
-
Do not work with diagnosis
Counseling
There are seasons and phases in our lives. A person might do best with counseling at one time and with coaching at another. If the need is for emotional healing or to get through a time of feeling overwhelmed, depressed, confused, or very anxious, counseling might be the best option. Almost all of us have times in our lives when we feel one or more of those emotions. If we are mainly dealing with overcoming difficult memories or traumatic events in our past, counseling is designed to deal with those issues.
If a person is feeling impaired in his or her work, relationships, or emotional life, or if the present need seems to be just to cope, or if a person feels “in survival mode,” counseling may be called for.
What is Positive Psychology Coaching?

Positive Psychology and Coaching are a perfect match. Both aim to help people function well and flourish.
Positive Psychology, as a whole, aims to remove the positive versus negative question from the picture and instead explore and identify the what, where, how, and why of positivity for individual success in order to flourish.
It doesn’t seek to remove the negative from life but instead aims to bring balance between the two concepts and help individuals understand how negativity can serve a purpose in helping us to flourish.
Positive Psychology is backed by a considerable body of professional research, meaning that a coaching model based on Positive Psychology concepts, can offer a more structured and reliable approach to supporting individuals achieve their goals.
A popular definition of Positive Psychology Coaching: Positive Psychology Coaching is an evidence-based coaching practice for the enhancement of wellbeing, achievement, and resilience, which can help you achieve your personal and professional goals for happiness and success. It is defined as “a scientifically-rooted approach to helping clients increase well-being, enhance and apply strengths, improve performance and achieve valued goals” (Kauffman, Boniwell & Silberman, 2009).

It can be especially useful at times of transition to strengthen your resilience and forge a new path. Positive psychology coaching is a strengths-based approach. Find an encore career
Positive Psychology Coaching is a form of behavioral mentoring and an action-oriented approach. It differs from therapy, which explores areas of difficulty and distress with the goal of reducing those negatives. The University of Pennsylvania sums up the differences thus. “Dr. Seligman is training Positive Psychologists, individuals whose practice will make the world a happier place, parallel to the way clinical psychologists have made the world a less unhappy place.”
Positive Psychology Coaching also assists clients to explore their values, strengths, and weaknesses, their resilience, and resourcefulness. Once more, backed with the tools and resources developed through Positive Psychology, coaching that utilizes this model can quickly and accurately help clients to achieve results.
This is simply by being able to offer more precision around specific goals and their related areas to help clients become more focused on what changes they might need to make to achieve desired objectives.

What is Neurocoaching?
Neurocoaching is a fusion of cognitive neuroscience, neuropsychology, cognitive neuroplasticity, and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques (CBT -evidence-based psychological treatment).
Neurocoaching differs from other modalities by the central importance of using the brain-mind-body continuum in how we coach.
Cutting-edge, proven neuro coaching techniques, tools, and neuro-behavioral change models of change are all evidence-based and can generate positive, lasting results that can be measured.
A typical problem with traditional coaching is when the unconscious self and emotions block or inhibit a positive outcome. The traditional cognitive approach is based on logic and deliberative thinking and avoids emotions and feelings. Yet, our construction of a sense of self, the world, and self-in-relationship to the world is a complex web of memory, embedded with EMOTION and sense impressions. Neuroscience has now proven that making an emotional connection is the key enabler in the process of changing behavior.
Our mind is forced mindlessly to follow a set track engraved by the brain's emotional response center that overrides all other systems. When a coach tries to get their client to override their brain's systems of rote response, we cause them to suffer emotional distress. Even when we try to change a routine behavior our brain sends out strong messages that something is wrong, and the capacity for higher thought is decreased. These messages typically overpower rational thought. Change efforts subsequently result in discomfort and stress.
Neurocoaching Interventions are designed not only to shape and build new neural pathways, but also to change the areas of our brain associated with emotions and memories such as the pre-frontal cortex, the amygdala, and the hippocampus which like our brains are not hard-wired (they are ‘plastic’).
Powerful visualization techniques (mental imagery) are used to activate brain regions to affect desired behavior changes and/or learning of a new skill.
The Brain-Mind-Body Continuum
Perceptual meta-self-awareness exercises are used to stimulate neural re-growth that generates a change in the brain-mind-body continuum. The emphasis is on the brain-mind-body union generating measurable and sustainable mental, physiological, and even spiritual enhancement with bottom-line increases in performance, well-being, health, and happiness.
Shaping Neural Pathways.
A revolutionary scientific observation is we are not necessarily “stuck” with the brain we have. “Rewiring” neural networks and enhancing neuroplasticity in normal brains is possible.
Neurocoaching focuses on:
1) accessing the subconscious mind and,
2) the limbic section of the brain that provides a critical link to the brain-mind-body union and how we can affect neural and physiological changes.
Neurocoaching interventions are designed to open “windows of plasticity” and target specific domains of the brain’s structure and reset them to form greater connectivity and oversight. The objective of the targeted interventions is to have the participant achieve perceptual self-awareness and learn powerful, self-empowering, brain-mind-body change techniques for self-change.
Clients are taught easy-to-use, practical, self-empowering neuropsychological techniques (to practice once a day for 15 mins) that change and redirect associated neural patterns to activate targeted innate brain-mind-body mechanisms.

What Is Parts Work Coaching
Parts Work coaching is the concept that our personality is composed of a number of various parts from our unconscious. The goal of parts works coaching is to help people have all the parts of the self ready to show up when needed. This intervention is particularly useful for someone who has experienced an unresolved inner dilemma. More people around the world are discovering the benefits of part work to overcome personal barriers. Parts Work coaching can also help resolve internal conflicts, even after a client fails to respond to traditional techniques. The patient-centered approach uses the client’s own ability to resolve their inner conflicts.
How Does Parts Work Coaching?
Some people are fortunate enough to have the traits they wish to tap into from time to time. For others, accessing their desired personality is extremely difficult. Parts work facilitator/coach acts as a mediator to help clients resolve their inner conflicts. The facilitator communicates directly with the parts of the unconscious involved in a person’s inner conflict. The facilitator then employs mediation to help resolve the inner conflict, hopefully achieving the desired result by Identifying the part, Establishing rapport with the part, Finding an agreement between the parts and Integrating the parts together, and finding consensus.
This approach empowers clients because it’s based on the idea that the power to change resides within the client. The facilitator’s job is to remain as objective as possible during the coaching session. This method helps people constructively discover their inner power. Improved self-esteem is often a side benefit for many people who try parts work.
